Hello, hope you have all had a lovely Easter Break, I have. I can't quite believe we are heading towards Summer now and Great Bear are getting closer to being Year Twos with every day!
The National Phonics Check is on its way, week beginning June 11th. I will keep you posted as to progress and Home Learning will have a more focused Phonics approach up until May half term.
Please do pop in and see me if you would like to chat about phonics.
Our next topic will be taking us around the world, we will be looking at hot and cold climates. This will lead us to the seaside for our final piece of learning before the end of the school year. We will be using a book by Oliver Jeffers to introduce our learning, the first part will be science and geography based, whilst the seaside element will have a history focus as we look at how seaside holidays have changed in living memory.
See you soon.
Mrs D.
