Great Bear Class have been working really hard this term, we have really moved our learning forward and I hope you can see the progress at home too.
Reading and spelling are super, Maths is marvelous and their instructions have been some of the best I have ever read from Year One writers.
We have made dragon puppets and wrote instructions on how to make them, we also wrote instructions for our visiting dragon who was asking for help with his handwriting!
We are just waiting for him to reply, we are also keeping our fingers crossed that Jackie Morris the author replies too. We will let you know what happens!

Sensory Easter Story
In RE we have looking at why Easter is important to Christians. This week we have looked the Easter story and how it makes us feel. We read the story and used of senses to help.
We waved palm leaves and shouted hosanna, washed feet as part of the last supper, ate bread dipped in olive for the Mount of Olives, felt "thorns" and smelt vinegar (the soldiers gave it to Jesus to drink) and smelt myrrh for Jesus burial. Lastly we made flowers for the Easter Garden.
