Thank You For A Lovely Year!

A huge thank you for all my lovely presents and cards, I love them.

Thank you also for the wonderful year Great Bear and I have had together. We couldn't have done it without the support from everyone at home.

I have absolutely loved teaching Year One, and it has been hard to say goodbye to Great Bear Class. But I am looking forward to Year Four, as it is where I started teaching, many years ago. 

I am also looking forward to teaching your amazing children again in a few years time!

Last Swimming Session

Great Bear Class will be swimming on Tuesday, please can the children have their swimming kits.

Rowde's Got Talent, Great Bear's Only Entry!

On Wednesday we watched Rowde's Got Talent, all the entries were brilliant.

There were only two Key Stage 1 children performing and one was from Great Bear Class!

Well done Evie, we thought you were amazing!

Ice Cream Treats

This Friday we were lucky to have a lovely treat, ice cream! Which fitted in perfectly with our learning about the seaside.

Seaside Holidays with Nannie

This week we interviewed Nannie, (Jackie Bawden our Chair of Governors) to find out what it was like to visit the seaside when she was little.

We had lots of questions to ask her, we asked Nannie about clothes, food, travel, ice cream, buckets and spades and lots more!

We had a lovely time and whilst we found out that somethings have changed, others have stayed the same. We even looked at Nannie's holiday photos which really helped to bring it all to life.

Brilliant Writers

We have loved writing out innovated "Lost and Found" stories and the children have produced the most amazing results. I am so proud of them!
