In RE we have been thinking about Jewish families and Shabbat, Shabbat is their holy day of worship. It starts on a Friday evening and ends on a Saturday evening, it is very important to Jewish families and it is a time for rest, worship and spending time with your family.
We thought about what a Jewish child would say if they were invited to a party on a Friday after school. We acted out the conversation, the children were brilliant and it was such a pleasure to see how much their confidence and speaking and listening has grown!
